Chris Oh Joins 53 Stations

Jun 9, 2026

We’re excited to welcome Chris to 53 Stations as a Principal based in New York. He joins as a senior leader on the investment team and will build out the firm’s presence on the East Coast.

Chris has over seven years of experience at top-performing venture capital firms and financial institutions, leading investments into seven early-to-growth stage technology companies, deploying over $180M in capital, and advising on over $5B in financial transactions.

Chris comes to 53 Stations from GreenPoint Partners, where he led their $141 million debut venture fund alongside Ryan Shmeizer (ex-Thrive, Spark, and Insight) within their broader $1 billion real assets PE platform. At GreenPoint, Chris backed Series A-C technology companies in physical sectors, such as energy, supply chain, construction, real estate, industrials, mobility, and agriculture. Chris led investments into Tractian, GetCovered (board), GenLogs, Rhombus, and Monta, and worked with portfolio companies such as Built, OpenSpace, Momentus (board), Relay Payments, and others.

Before GreenPoint, Chris was at TCV, a global growth equity firm with $22B AUM. At TCV, Chris led private and public crossover investments across fintech and internet. He partnered with Spotify and Brex, and worked with portfolio companies including Wealthsimple, Rocket Companies, and Zillow. Before TCV, Chris worked at PJT Partners, where he advised on $5B in  M&A and capital markets transactions across industries as a generalist. Prior to that, Chris served in the ROK military for two years.

Across his investing career, Chris has always operated with the same approach: Partner with the world’s most ambitious founders and companies, and make strategic customer intros, enabled by deep industry relationships. Chris believes in “go positive, go first” and building goodwill without keeping score.

It’s a playbook that maps directly to what 53 Stations does through The Pritzker Organization, with its ecosystem of 90+ owned and realized operating companies, including Hyatt, Lithko Contracting, STV Group, TMS International, Steward Partners, Epic Staffing, and KBP Foods.

We’re excited for Chris to help us build on that. “53 Stations has built a genuinely differentiated platform,” Chris says. “The ability to create real commercial value for founders through its collective ecosystem and network is something I truly believe in.”

Outside of work, Chris enjoys playing fingerstyle and jazz guitar, shooting photography, tending to his plant collection, and running in Prospect Park. He’s also an avid Liverpool FC supporter. He graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with concentrations in Finance and Accounting and a minor in Music. Born in Virginia, Chris grew up around the world—Korea, the Philippines, the U.K., California, Utah, and Pennsylvania—and now calls New York home.

You can reach Chris at chris@53stations.com or connect with him on LinkedIn.
